Saw Richland County through the COVID-19 pandemic by ensuring public health measures and allocating federal funds to key community partners
Provided key constituent services to neighborhoods, attending community meetings to guide policy initiatives
​Opposed tax incentives for gun manufacturers
Fought for Bailey Bill recipients, ensuring they could repair older homes without massive tax increases
Active supporter of arts and culture, ensuring that our institutions can continue and thrive
Advanced affordable housing initiatives through economic development projects, funding, and policy​
Championed the second penny referendum on the ballot to ensure that transportation projects continue and bus services are available countywide
Focused on bike and pedestrian safety and access
Supported transportation projects and transit initiatives by bringing the Penny projects in-house and chairing the COMET board
